Boarding at Stella’s is like camping…in your living room. After closing we open up the entire facility and give everybody a little more room to play in. The dogs sleep in the same room as the staff member who is watching over them, dog beds are put out and everyone gets to pick their favorite.
Stella’s is a kennel free boarding facility. We will however kennel your dog overnight if you are crate training at home and don’t want to interrupt that training.
Boarding services are available 7 days a week and someone is on staff 24 hours a day when we have a dog staying with us.
In order to board or attend the playcare, the following rules apply.
- Must have a playcare interview which consists of a temperament test and general introduction. There is no charge for this. Interviews are done by appointment, Tuesday through Saturday between 10am and 3pm.
- Dogs over 1 year of age must be spayed or neutered. If your dog is in heat, she cannot attend playcare or board with us until her heat cycle has finished.
- Dogs must be current on their shots. Puppies should have had at least their second round of shots. You will need to bring proof from your vet or have them fax us the records.
- Dog must be in good health. If you your dog is ill PLEASE do not bring them to playcare and jeopardize the health of the other dogs.
- We strongly recommend that your dog be on a monthly flea treatment program.

Please note the following cancellation policy for boarding reservations. A fee equal to the one missed service will be assessed if cancellation notice is less than 24 hours or if the reservation is "No Showed".
